Not all robins migrate south in the winter. In fact in almost the entire United States, robins will stay year round. In the winter their main source of food is berries and other fruit. The robin below was photographed by me on Jan. 7, 2018. However, a large chunk of the robin population does migrate from Canada to Mexico to find fruit and bugs to eat.
